Pankaj Tripathi has spoken up on the controversy surrounding Akshay Kumar's upcoming film OMG 2.
The film has been accused of hurting religious sentiments and promoting love jihad.
Pankaj Tripathi said that he believes in freedom of expression but also respects people's sentiments.
He added that he hasn't seen the film yet and cannot comment on it specifically.
OMG 2 is a sequel to the 2012 film OMG: Oh My God! and stars Akshay Kumar and Yami Gautam.
The film is set to release on September 10 on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar.
OMG 2 has been directed by Amit Rai and produced by Ashwin Varde and Akshay Kumar.
